Week 4, day 3.

It was a bright, sunny noon, exactly 11:30. A young girl named Hui was rushing through the streets, holding a half-eaten hot dog she just stole from a random street vendor without being noticed "Another successful venture as a street rat! This mortal thing is too easy..." she thought aloud to herself as she decided she must have gotten away. She walked down the street, looking down at her freshly stolen lunch, distracted from what was in front of her...

Witch was walking down the road with Shine enjoying the day "Its a nic..."Witch was cut off as she bumped into the girl in front of her Hui's lunch falling to the ground as she did.

As Hui collided and fell backwards from the surprise collision, she dropped her hot dog on the ground "Ow... Uh, sor-... Aw... My hot dog... I worked hard for that, y'know?..." she said as she stood back up "Oh well, you win some, you lose some... And you just lost the right to your next hot dog in my presence!" she said jokingly with a smile...

Starshine looked at the weird girl quizzically "Umm are you.. okay?" deciding to ignore the stranger aspects of the encounter

Hui nodded "Yup! I mean, I'm probably gonna be a bit hungrier than I expected, but that's not too bad..." she said with a shrug "...Also, when did you get here?..." she asked in slight confusion as she just noticed Shine "Uh, nevermind, hi, my name's Hui, you owe me a hot dog now!"

Starshine narrowed his eyes a little and returned her greeting "My name's Brant, and I fail to see how I owe you anything"

Witch smiled a little "Be nice Shine...Im sorry hui ill get you a new hotdog.."Smiles sweetly before glaring at Shine

Hui shrugged with a smile "Aw, you don't have to apologize, it's just a hot dog, easy replacement!... I mean, I stole it, but you look like you have money..." she said with another small shrug...

Starshine glared at Hui A little bit "Oh is that so?" He said with clear agitation in his voice

Hui nodded and smiled, pretending not to notice the agitation in Shine's voice "Yep, that's so!"

Witch leans down to be at eye to eye with Hui "Why did you steal that then?"

Hui shrugged "I don't have money... Isn't that obvious from when I said "I stole it"?" she said bluntly...

Witch smiled sadly at the girl "Why dint your parents pay for it then...."

Hui shrugged again, pouting with clear annoyance, but obviously no sorrow "I don't have parents... Well... I have parents, they just don't live in this universe." she said, smile returning to her face as she mentioned alternate dimensions...

Starshine sighed and looked at Hui with clear disbelief "So you're saying your parents are in an alternate universe?" he asked thinking about how much money he had with him

Hui nodded, then put her finger to her mouth in thought "Well... My mom does, I don't know who my dad is, so as far as I know, he could be living in this one... So... Yeah... Hot dog now, please?"

Witch whispered into Shines ear "What should we do Shine?"Witch asked before smiling at the girl

Starshine groaned and whispered "Well we cant just not help her" To Witch

Witch smiled a little before looking at Hui "W-where do you live Hui?"

Hui pouted in annoyance once again "On the street... If I lived in a house, chances are I would have either money or parents who live in this universe... Or both..."

Starshine glared at Hui "firstly you could afford to be a bit more polite given the situation secondly How'd you get to death city if you don't have parents here and you aren't enrolled at the academy?"

"I woke up just outside the city without memories, some disembodied voices told me some stuff that isn't important to you, then I got back my memories of my mom and the fact I'm a goddess drained of power... Should've mentioned that from the beginning... Might I say that being a mortal is easy, you things complain too much..." she said bluntly ""My shower's too hot!" "My girlfriend won't make love tonight!" "My Family's starving!" "Stop slaughtering us for fun, oh, magnificent Goddess!", complete babies..."

Witch whispered into Shines ear "We have to help her! She is crazy..."

"No that is why we walk away right now I'm all for helping the needy but this kid is straight up crazy!" Starshine whispered back

Witch smiled a little as she looked at Hui "Hey Hui Do you want to live with me and Shine?"Looks back at Shine with a nod before whispering in his ear "Im helping her right now..."
